On the hills of Romagna between Rimini and the Valmarecchia, Vertaglia Infissi transforms wood, steel, bronze and wood-aluminium into windows and doors designed to measure. Since 1961 — when the Vertaglia brothers began making windows in a garage in Sant'Ermete — the workshop has become a reference point for residential and commercial architecture.
Four materials, one compositional rigour. Wood, steel, bronze and wood-aluminium are the raw materials with which Vertaglia builds every window and door: each chosen for its structural and aesthetic qualities, each worked to the same standards of control. The combination of these materials makes it possible to meet any project, from conservative restoration to new contemporary construction.
It all began at a workbench. In 1961 the Vertaglia brothers opened their first workshop in a garage in Sant'Ermete, working wood for the windows of the neighbourhood. That philosophy — from workshop to industrial precision — has remained the guiding thread: every window or door starts from a bespoke design, conceived for the specific site that will house it.
The light that enters through a Vertaglia window is measured and certified. Every frame meets documented technical standards: acoustic insulation, thermal efficiency, break-in resistance, finish quality and SOA certification. Performance that cannot be seen but is lived every day, and that guarantees a durability confirmed even by clients who return after twenty years.
