Carpinone, an Apennine village (borgo) in Molise, holds an art that has lit up Italy's piazzas for over half a century. Since 1970 the Venditti family has shaped light into handcrafted forms, turning church façades and patron saint festivals into luminous scenes that stay in the memory of those who pass through them.
Every installation is a work born on site: scaffolding raised at dawn, materials chosen to withstand the elements, luminous designs conceived to enhance church façades and historic piazzas with effects that are never repeated. Venditti creates illuminations for patron saint festivals and Christmas decorations, and handles civil and industrial electrical systems, public lighting maintenance, and photovoltaic systems, with the same technical care.
Four generations of the Venditti family have passed down, at the same workbench, the same tools and the same care, building a knowledge that cannot be learned from manuals. Every luminous decoration carries this continuity within it: the hand that solders the wires, chooses innovative materials, and draws the designs with an originality that only a long-standing craftsman can express with confidence.
The van loaded with structures, ladders, and equipment sets out from Carpinone toward the piazzas of villages and cities: every job is designed to measure, because every church, every festival, every event has its own geometry and its own light to find. Venditti also rents modular stages and audio systems, taking its technical expertise well beyond illuminations and lighting.
