In the heart of Montelupone, a medieval village overlooking the hills of the Macerata countryside, an artisan workshop carries the name of its founder and a precise calling: to transform with method, to produce with measure.
In Montelupone, a medieval village looking out over the hills of Macerata, Alessio Bigoni has opened a workshop where raw materials are received, selected and transformed with artisan care. The workbench is the first act of every production: here everything begins, even before the gesture takes shape.
The workshop takes its name from its founder and carries in its title the word that matters: lab, a place of research and making. The hands at work on the bench tell of an activity that chooses artisan transformation as its method, far from seriality, within the logic of a product conceived piece by piece.
On the shelf, the finished products wait for those who will seek them out. The Bigo's Lab belongs to a tradition of small Marche productions rooted in their territory, where the village is not mere backdrop but part of the character of what is made. Every package carries with it the measure of work done in Montelupone.
From the shop window, the story of The Bigo's Lab awaits discovery in its full page.
