In the north-western outskirts of Milan, at Garbagnate Milanese, a family-run stable has chosen to make riding something accessible: a path, not a privilege, open to beginners and competitors alike.
Along the stable corridor, the boxes open one after another, and the sand of the arena appears at the far end like a promise. Francesca and Matteo have built a place here where children, teenagers and adults find the time and space to approach horses without haste, in an environment that regulars describe as like family.
Saddles lined up, bridles hanging, boots along the wall: every object speaks of the care this stable devotes to the animals and to those who ride them. The teaching programme — from basic lessons to pre-competition training and competition itself — is entrusted to qualified instructors who work with method and close attention to the relationship between rider and horse.
