Roberto Guiati opened his first restaurant in Kuala Lumpur in 2013, building a regional Italian dining group that today counts several locations in the most exclusive malls of the Klang Valley. Roberto's at Bangsar Shopping Centre is the heart of the project: a stylish, intimate setting, chic and inviting, that announces itself from the threshold as a serious address with no compromises.
The dining room opens onto an outdoor terrace, among those most appreciated by guests for the breathing space it offers amid the city. The carefully curated selection of Italian wines accompanies a menu that ranges from traditional classics — carbonara, lasagna, risotto al nero di seppia (squid-ink risotto) — to fresh fish dishes such as barramundi and fried calamari.
From the kitchen come pizzas baked in wood-fired ovens imported directly from Italy: the romana and the carbonara pizza draw the most enthusiastic praise from regulars.
