ristorazione — Arcevia · Marche
Among the hills that divide the valleys of the Misa and the Cesano, in San Pietro in Musio, a small hamlet of Arcevia, Piccolo Ranch is a farmhouse restaurant (agriturismo) that brings to the table the country cooking of the Marche region in its most authentic form: the kind handed down by home cooks, generation after generation.
Cross the threshold and you find yourself in a family-run agriturismo, where the kitchen is entrusted to cooks who pass down recipes of Ancona's country tradition from generation to generation. Not a trend-driven menu, but a living, rooted repertoire: dishes like oca in porchetta, wild boar cooked in a clay pot, porcini mushrooms and truffle from the local land.
The dining room extends onto a panoramic terrace overlooking the Cesano Valley. The horizon of hills shifts in light from midday to sunset, and from here you see exactly the landscape that nourished the ingredients on your plate. Sitting on the terrace is an act of geographic coherence that few places can offer: the territory in the glass, on the plate, before your eyes.
The wood-fired oven is the heart of the pizzeria: stone-ground flours rise at their own natural pace, and baking follows a rhythm no electric oven can replicate. The same care governs the fresh pasta: every day, using Senatore Cappelli flour, the cooks renew an ancient gesture that ties the table to the land.
On the Piccolo Ranch page, the menu of Marche tradition, the estate's own products — from olive oil to oca in porchetta (goose cooked porchetta-style) — and everything you need to reach San Pietro in Musio.
