In Milazzo, on the promontory facing the Aeolian Islands, a medical and rehabilitation centre has chosen to build something rare: a place where physiotherapy and specialist medicine truly meet, under one roof and under a single clinical direction.
More than thirty selected specialists — neurosurgeons, physiatrists, physiotherapists, graduates in motor sciences — work in a single coordinated space, where every therapeutic path is built through dialogue between different areas of expertise. It is a multidisciplinary model that Milazzo had not yet seen applied with this level of coherence.
Orice has developed FisioDonna (PhysioWoman), a service designed to meet women's specific needs, combining physical wellbeing and personal care in an integrated path. It is one of the signs of a centre that treats not only the condition, but considers the person as a whole.
Four specialist clinics — Spine, Knee, Shoulder, Posture — structure care into targeted paths, both conservative and post-surgical. Patients are followed for months, session after session, with protocols such as the Fast Therapy method: the treatment room is where diagnosis becomes concrete rehabilitation.
