In the countryside of the Meuse, among villages that resemble one another and roads that lead nowhere in a hurry, Florian Camus has chosen not to have a fixed address. His artisan pizzeria moves: it is a food truck, and the territory is his restaurant.
In the villages of the Meuse, where the roads narrow and the bell towers mark out the slow time of the Lorraine countryside, a scent of risen dough announces the arrival of Florian Camus. His food truck travels a weekly circuit of towns — Spincourt, Ugny, Pillon, Harville, Buzy — bringing artisan pizza where there is no fixed sign.
Pizza Délices 55 has no dining room: the counter is the truck's bed, the dining room is the square or the roadside where customers wait. Yet that community's loyalty was tested in the hardest moment — after the fire of October 2025 that had grounded the vehicle and wiped out its stock — with a solidarity Camus called moving.
The return to the road, on 5 January 2026, was a statement of method: "I'm starting up again slowly, but with the same passion," the pizzaiolo said. Inside the truck, amid dough and oven, the technique remains that of Neapolitan breadmaking carried into the heart of rural France, true to the craftsmanship that has built the reputation of Pizza Délices 55.
