Montappone sits atop a hill in the inland Marche, and from this window the landscape stretches out to the Sibillini mountain range. The twelve rooms of the palazzo are all different from one another, furnished with antique pieces from the Marche collected over time and with hand-painted doors: no detail is mass-produced. Looking out from this flower-filled balcony, with the Sibillini closing the horizon, is the moment you realise you are truly elsewhere.
Mornings begin with a breakfast made with local produce, included in the stay. In the evening, the in-house restaurant serves cuisine from the Marche, made largely with ingredients grown in the property's own vegetable garden, paired with a cellar of over four hundred labels curated by sommelier Fabiola Riccucci.
