In Roosdaal, in the heart of Flanders, a door opens onto a different world. Osteria Rosatina is a family-run venture born to carry Southern Italian cooking far from its natural borders: an intimate place where every detail of hospitality is thought through with the care of someone cooking for their own home.
The dining room holds only a few tables and a tailored offer: private dining is at the heart of the service, with culinary experiences built around the guests. The osteria is also active in catering — among other events, it signed the table for the sixtieth anniversary celebration of the municipality of Roosdaal.
At the stoves works Rosario Butera, chef and winner of The Taste in 2013, who has made Southern Italian cooking his own precise language. Every dish grows from traditions of Southern Italy interpreted with rigour: living substance, not quotation, carrying flavours and gestures learned far from Flanders.
