It all began in 1963, when Vittorio Russo opened his workshop specialising in leaf spring repairs for industrial vehicles. In 1998 Meccanica Russo Srl was born as a sales, service and automotive parts centre, and today his children Mario, Palma and Alfonso carry forward that same workshop, hands in the engine and the family name on the gate.
The wall of tools speaks to the depth of a workshop that does not stop at ordinary mechanics. Meccanica Russo is an authorised centre for the biennial inspection and data download of digital tachographs, runs refresher courses for professional drivers, and services pneumatic and electronic Wabco braking systems on heavy vehicles, with specific expertise in hydraulics for trucks and buses.
