Verona, a city of the arena and rose-coloured stone, holds a quieter elegance too: that of leather worked by hand. Massimiliano Incas was founded in 2007 with a clear purpose — to bring the best of Italian tanning craftsmanship into the city.
The raw material comes from Santa Croce sull'Arno, in the heart of Tuscany, where the tanning tradition is rooted in centuries of craft. Every bag begins in those workshops: selected hides, soft to the touch, able to hold their colour and shape over time. An origin that is not a detail, but a foundation.
From cutting to assembly, through to the finishing touches, every stage remains in the hands of Italian artisans. No step is left to chance: manufacturing is a continuous process in which precision and gesture alternate at the workbench, and every stitch tells of the care taken by the one who made it. This is what sets an accessory apart from a mere object.
The four-hundred-square-metre showroom in Verona holds more than four hundred models, spanning a colour range that is refreshed weekly with new arrivals. Different colours, cuts and sizes coexist in a space designed for choosing: not a catalogue to leaf through, but a living collection, able to answer to every season and every style.
