The old barn has been carefully restored to house nine rooms, each overlooking the elegantly kept garden. From the window, the medieval town of Amelia stands out among the holm oaks and oaks of the hills, while the profile of Monte Terminillo closes the horizon: a view that changes light with every hour of the day, in absolute silence.
Forty hectares of Umbrian countryside surround the property, planted with olive trees, seasonal vegetables and a large artichoke field. From the flower-lined terrace, the panoramic pool with sundeck opens onto the same hills: those who prefer to keep moving will find marked trekking trails and MTB and road-bike routes through the woods of Macchie.
In the morning, breakfast brings homemade cakes and biscuits, fresh pastries and juices to the table: a homely ritual that sets the slow pace of Collepina. In the evening, Ristorante Collepina serves traditional Umbrian cooking — braised beef cheek, the costate — with genuine ingredients from the surrounding land.
