produttori — Civitella Roveto · Abruzzo
In the heart of the Abruzzo Apennines, where Valle Roveto narrows between the mountains of the province of L'Aquila, a company founded in 2007 has made truffle and forest its productive and cultural reason for being.
In Valle Roveto, among the foothills of the Abruzzo Apennines, the truffle grounds of Lo Scoiattolo hold white and black truffles that the company describes as among the best in the world. These are crops rooted in a specific territory, where the soil and mountain microclimate dictate the timing of the harvest and the quality of the product.
Alongside the truffle grounds, chestnut groves and olive groves complete the company's agricultural holdings: chestnuts, honey and oil all come from the same lands of Civitella Roveto. It is a short supply chain by definition, where every raw material carries the memory of a specific woodland and of those who tend it using their own solar power.
The processing workshop produces white and black truffle creams, porcini mushroom sauces, flavoured oils and honey: a range that translates the richness of the forest into products ready for the table. The Il Bosco shop, on Via Roma, and the online channel make this selection available even beyond Valle Roveto.
The workshop, the shop and the truffle grounds tell a single story: discover the full page for Lo Scoiattolo.
