ristorazione — Gent · Fiandre
In the heart of Ghent, just steps from the Capitole, Leonì Cucina Contemporanea brings Italian gastronomic tradition to a Flemish city that knows how to recognise quality. An offering built on seasonality, on fresh pasta made daily, and on training of the highest level.
Brabantdam 103: an address in the old heart of Ghent that lives up to expectations. The entrance to Leonì leads into a restaurant recognised by the Federazione Italiana Cuochi (Italian Chefs' Federation) for authenticity and excellence in contemporary cuisine — a recognition that carries double weight in a Flemish city. The menu follows the seasons and changes with them, true to a philosophy of living cuisine.
The dining room holds carefully laid tables and a wine list built on rare and prestigious Italian labels, paired dish by dish. For occasions calling for privacy, a private space welcomes up to fifteen guests: working dinners, celebrations, gatherings that deserve a dedicated setting. The atmosphere reflects that balance of elegance and warmth typical of Italian hospitality.
Behind the stoves, Chef Edu Oricchio built his technique at the Italian Chef Academy in Rome and sharpened his eye at the Michelin-starred restaurant AROMA, under the guidance of Giuseppe Di Iorio. Every day, fresh pasta is born from his hands: dough, cut, shape — an artisanal gesture no industrial production can replicate.
