In the heart of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon, the distinctive scent of leather marks the threshold of a craft workshop born in 1997: two shops, one family identity built on hand-worked Italian leather.
Italian leather arrives at the workshop with its distinctive scent and living texture: deep dyes, surfaces that shift with the light. Since 1997, LAPELLE ROMA has selected leathers hand-worked by local artisans, choosing each hide for its texture and for the chromatic quality that sets it apart.
Every piece is born at the workbench: family management ensures that each stage remains under the same watchful eye. Signora Angela personally attends to customers, explains the working techniques and offers free advice on the care and maintenance of leather goods, a service that turns a purchase into a lasting relationship.
An explosion of colour — recalling Kandinsky, who wrote of colour as a power that influences the soul — runs through the entire collection. The Lilibet, an iconic bag with a curved design inspired by saddle bags, is also offered in the Titanium Collection: recognisable shapes, chromatic variations that make each piece personal.
