produttori — Traversetolo · Emilia-Romagna
Traversetolo, a village in the province of Parma on the first Apennine hills: here, on Via Matteotti, an artisan gelateria and pastry shop keeps alive the slow gesture of in-house production, where every preparation starts from selected raw materials worked by hand each day.
Every morning the selected raw materials arrive on the marble counter on Via Matteotti: fruit, cream, sugar, chocolate. Andrea Bertani receives them, assesses them, arranges them with care. From this attentive gesture comes every preparation that leaves the shop, a gelateria and pastry shop in one, in a village at the foot of the Parma Apennines.
The hands work unhurried, with the precision of someone who knows every mixture. Pastry and gelato coexist in the same workshop, following different rhythms but the same artisan method. The result is an in-house production that in Traversetolo is known for its quality and for how quickly the trays empty.
On the shelf, the finished products don't wait long: customers find them, choose them, take them home. Social media posts put it simply — "they sell like hotcakes" — and that phrase tells, better than any award, the relationship Dal Berta has built with its town and with those who come from outside the province for a sweet stop.
From the window on Via Matteotti, Andrea Bertani's shop tells the story of Traversetolo and its province: discover the full page.
