In the inland reaches of Ciociaria, in Monte San Giovanni Campano, Matteo Velocci opened the doors of his own home at the age of twenty, alongside his mother and father. An agriturismo born of a clear life choice: to stay on the family land, farm it organically, and welcome those who want to rediscover the rhythm of the countryside.
The farm grows fruit and vegetables without chemicals, following the natural cycle of the seasons. Whatever the land yields at a given moment of the year is what reaches the table: no compromises, no departure from nature's calendar. A simple principle, yet one that demands daily dedication and a deep knowledge of the soil.
Guests can visit the family's fields and vegetable garden, and see for themselves the distance — almost none — between harvest and plate. Matteo's farmhouse kitchen is open from Thursday to Sunday for dinner, and on Sunday also for lunch, always by reservation: a table worth the journey.
