Antico Frantoio Bardari occupies a seventeenth-century country dwelling: four centuries of oil-making history held in stone, facing a landscape that has lost none of its original measure.
From the flower-lined balcony, the eye climbs back toward the Calabrian interior, where the Bardari family's olive groves stretch along the slopes as they have for four generations. These are centuries-old trees, some standing for more than four hundred years: roots sunk into the same soil the family still works today, with the same care passed down from hand to hand.
