Eight hundred metres above sea level, in the holm oak woods of Monteluco overlooking Spoleto, Albergo Ferretti has kept alive since 1921 an idea of hospitality rooted in the Umbrian landscape and in the continuity of a family. The silence of the woods is the first welcome.
From the window opens the holm oak wood that envelops Monteluco: a natural heritage that, at eight hundred metres of altitude, changes colour with the seasons, from the deep green of summer to the slanting light of autumn. This landscape is not the backdrop to the hotel: it is the reason the Ferretti family chose to stay here since 1921.
Three generations of the Ferretti family have learned that mountain hospitality is measured in concrete gestures: rooms for three and four designed for families, a conference hall open to groups travelling together, a park with games for children. A welcome that knows how to adapt without losing its character.
The twenty-three rooms — double, triple, quadruple, all with private bathrooms — welcome different guests: families on holiday, children on school trips, touring groups passing through, religious communities. The morning light filtering through the holm oaks finds, every day, a place ready and unadorned, with the solidity of those who have practised this craft for over a century.
