I am so excited to open my new restaurant in Haslemere and I look forward to serving you some of my family favourites and some classic Italian dishes soon.
I have over 20 years experience in managing and working in the catering industry both as an importer and exporter of fine foods from Italy and as a restaurateur in London. I felt it was time to take life a bit easier and start up something for me and my family. The experience I gained from working at United Colours of Benetton and launching Boscoreale, a restaurant which I have now sold, has given me the foundation to start something smaller and more intimate.
My passion is food, family and good company. I look forward to welcoming you to Carlo Independent Italian Restaurant soon and for us to laugh and love food together.

Aperta nel 1974 da mamma e papà.. i quali, dopo il grande successo della trattoria, decisero di iniziare una nuova avventura dando vita ad una bruschetteria, dislocata in mezzo al bosco, che ora è conosciuta ovunque come Piero Cula…
…dal 1995 la bruschetteria è gestita da me “Paola” assieme a mio marito “Mirko” …quì, si possono trovare, oltre ai famosi fagioli, una vasta scelta di bruschette…. dell’ottimo Goulash.. stinchi…vari primi piatti ...naturalmente, tutti cibi caserecci e fatti da noi con molta cura e passione..
In estate, i nostri Clienti possono godere di una bella terrazza panoramica dove ci si può rinfrescare nelle calde serate estive, oppure accomodarsi all’interno con circa 80 posti a sedere.

Lievita Bakery è un luogo nato dall'amore dei due proprietari per l'ospitalità e per il buon cibo. È un piccolo laboratorio artigianale di una volta, rivisitato in chiave moderna, dove la fretta lascia spazio alla dolcezza delle lievitazioni naturali.
Qui ci si sente coccolati e si sorride, gioendo per la complessità delle cose semplici come la buona cucina, sia quella locale che delle origini partenopee e siciliane dei due proprietari. La cucina si può gustare nella piccola saletta adiacente o nella cornice del caratteristico vicoletto del centro storico.
Oltre a essere un forno, Lievita Bakery offre anche una piccola ristorazione a pranzo e cena, con posti a sedere e un ristorantino accogliente. Ogni giorno sforniamo pane al lievito madre, da gustare sia a tavola che da comprare al banco.
Offriamo anche dolcetti, pizze al taglio e in teglia, e, durante le feste, grandi lievitati come colombe e panettoni artigianali. Tutti i nostri prodotti sono realizzati con lievito madre vivo e le migliori farine e materie prime.

Bereits seit 1975 besteht dieses ausgezeichnete italienische Restaurant, das aufgrund seiner Beliebtheit schon viermal vergrößert wurde.
Mitarbeiter:
Ein eingespieltes Team, vorwiegend italienisch besetzt verwöhnen die Gäste mit vollstem Einsatz, und sind Bemüht den Gästen ein Gefühl des zu Hause seins zu vermitteln. Einige sind schon fast Familienmitglieder und viele Jahre im Unternehmen im Einsatz.

Das Restaurant Il Mare ist nicht nur in Wien, sondern auch österreichweit und international bekannt und beliebt. Viele Gäste kommen aus der ganzen Welt speziell für einen kulinarischen Besuch zu dem Traditionsunternehmen.
Spezialisierung und Besonderheiten:
Die einzigartige traditionell italienische Küche, die neben der bereits ausgezeichneten „besten Pizza Wiens“ auch Fischkreationen allererster Wahl beinhaltet, erfreut den Gourmet in jeder Hinsicht.
Die Bistecca Fiorentina (T-Bone-Steak auf toskanische Art), die direkt in einem schon für das Auge beeindruckenden Holzofengrill zubereitet wird, ist bis New York bekannt und wird dort auch empfohlen.
Selbstverständlich werden alle Pizze vor den Augen der Gäste ganz frisch im Holzofen zubereitet. Nahezu alle Zutaten werden direkt aus Italien geliefert.
Erfolgsfaktoren:
Nur ein kompetenter Gastgeber kann seinen Gästen das Gefühl des „Zu-Hause-Seins“ vermitteln. Dieses Erfolgsrezept stammt vom Firmengründer Pasquale Tavella. Absolute Sauberkeit, Gastfreundschaft und ein gemütliches Ambiente, das den Gästen das Gefühl eines Urlaubes in Italien vermitteln soll, steht im Il Mare im Vordergrund.
Nach dem Ableben des Firmengründer Pasquale Tavella († 2016) wird das Restaurant von der Tochter, Grazia Tavella–Sevilmis als Erlebnisgastronomie betrieben – schon beim Betreten des Restaurants hat man ein gutes Gefühl!
Erwähnenswertes:
Das Il Mare erhielt bereits viele Auszeichnungen und beachtliche Erwähnungen, unter anderem im „Tafelspitz“. Ganz besonders stolz ist man auf die Auszeichnung des „Premio Ospitalità Italiana“, mit dem das Restaurant als die beste Pizzeria Wiens geehrt wurde.
Voraussichtlich vom 1.Mai – 30.September wird für die Gäste ein schöner Schanigarten aufgestellt.
Bekannte Persönlichkeiten aus den Bereichen Sport, Film, Fernsehen, Theater und Politik sind als Stammgäste stets gerne gesehen. Die immer in Erinnerung bleibende österreichische Legende Falco war hier ebenfalls Stammgast.
Gästekapazität:
Der Innenbereich des Il Mare fasst zirka 100 Gäste, im Schanigarten finden bis zu 40 Gäste einen Sitzplatz.

Neben Bargeld können die Gäste gerne auch mit der Bankomatkarte sowie den Kreditkarten Visa und MasterCard bezahlen.
Ciro e il suo Ristorantino è un punto di riferimento per tutti, abitanti del posto e turisti, ormai da venti anni. Oste perfetto, amico fidato e disponibile, con la sua famiglia ed i suoi collaboratori fa della cordialità, della simpatia e dell'ospitalità i punti di forza del suo ristorante.
