Das Ristorante Pizzeria La Favola wurde 2010 von Mauro Marzoli gegründet. Im Oktober 2021 fand ein Generationenwechsel statt, bei dem Alejandro, der Schwiegersohn, das Restaurant übernommen hat. Seine Frau Luana ist für den Service verantwortlich. Gemeinsam haben wir zum Ziel, dass unsere Gäste das Lokal zufrieden und mit einem Lächeln verlassen können.

Unsere Räumlichkeiten versprühen mit den Steinmauern und Terraccottaziegeln ein warmes und rustikales Ambiente. Freundlichkeit gegenüber den Gästen liegt uns am Herzen. Im Innenbereich bieten wir Platz für bis zu 60 Personen. Im Sommer laden wir auch auf der Terrasse im kühlenden Schatten der Bäume ein. Für Kinder steht ein Spielplatz zur Verfügung.

Dopo un secolo di storia l'innovativo restyling del Ristorante Bar del Fico

Il Bar del Fico nasce esattamente un secolo fa come latteria e somministrazione di bevande.

E’ tuttora considerato uno dei locali di riferimento nel centro di Roma grazie alla sua proposta che accompagna i clienti dalla colazione fino al dopocena, passando per il pranzo e l’aperitivo.

Da Via della Pace si accede presso una corte interna che ospita il Ristorante del Bar del Fico, nel quale è stato effettuato di recente un accurato ed innovativo restyling dove un grande ficus è il cuore di questa “serra cittadina”.

Nell’omonima Piazza del Fico si trova invece un’altra entrata del Bar del Fico, con i tavolini all’aperto come una volta, dove poter fare colazione, degustare a pranzo un menù fresco e moderno, sorseggiare un drink o un cocktail come aperitivo.

Il Bar del Fico dispone inoltre di diverse sale private da 20 a 100 posti dove poter organizzare un evento o festa privata in un posto affascinante, di stile e tendenza.

Situated on the bustling Glasgow Road and just a stone’s throw from Barshaw Park, Caffé Royale has become a thriving destination for excellent Italian cuisine in Paisley and beyond.

Established in 2016 but overseen as a family run operation since 2019, the restaurant pulls off the impressive feat of being stylish and contemporary while retaining a transportive quaintness which will immerse everyone that enters in the joy of the dining experience.

On top of its friendly and attentive staff are pivotal in creating the endearingly comfortable ambiance that's come to be one of its calling cards, what makes this eatery unique is the authenticity of its food.

Our Head Chef

After undertaking a professional pilgrimage in the 1980’s, head chef Colin Guthrie has immersed himself in the traditions and techniques of the mediterranean nation of Italy.

An enthusiastic student of his craft who learned under the tutelage of Sicilian chefs in Corleone, this all important period of hands-on training was supplemented by spending time in the markets of Palermo and getting a rare glimpse into the homespun methods of the mamma’s and nonna’s whose tried and tested methods have fed generations of families.

Inspired by the teachings of the old country, there is nothing mass-produced about what we do. Everything is cooked to order and as such, patience can often be a virtue as we always strive to deliver the most rewarding and flavourful visit that we can.

Fusing the best local produce with select important items which imbue our food with the unmistakable quality of genuine Italian cooking, it goes without saying that no matter what time you pop in and what menu you choose to eat from, we prioritise freshness and always strive to outdo ourselves.

An establishment that is never stationary, our ever-changing specials menu ensures that we’re in a constant state of evolution and there’s always something new to tempt you when you pay your next visit.

Nel cuore del centro storico, questo ristorante intimo e curato accoglie i suoi ospiti in un ambiente piacevole, con la possibilità di pranzare o cenare anche all’aperto, immersi nell’atmosfera della città.

Lo chef Nelson sceglie personalmente ogni ingrediente, dalle verdure di stagione al pesce fresco, passando per le carni selezionate, affidandosi a fornitori locali e regionali. Il risultato è una cucina semplice ma raffinata, capace di esaltare i sapori autentici delle Eolie e della tradizione siciliana.

Ogni piatto racconta una storia, fatta di materie prime genuine e rispetto per i sapori originari, reinterpretati con equilibrio e passione.

My story

Ciao!

My name is Antonio Vetrano. The concept for my restaurant is to follow my traditional Italian, family values, along with my experiences that I’ve had in Italy and England, to deliver quality, Italian cuisine, within a relaxed, friendly environment.

The vision of my kitchen is to keep the Italian cuisine as authentic as possible, but in my own style.

For me, the kitchen is my passion, my dedication and I always ensure my food contains simple, fresh ingredients, that are tasty, and as authentic, as possible.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to work in a variety of Italian restaurants in the local area, and this has enabled me to enter food awards such as, the Food Porn and Italian awards. These experiences have enabled me to refine my dishes.

I have lived in Padiham over 14 years, and I never thought the restaurant that I dreamed of, would only be five minutes away, from my home.
