Su una collina a pochi chilometri da Alba si trova Nesto, ristorante rustico ed elegante, nel cuore delle Langhe, precisamente a La Morra, uno dei borghi italiani d'eccellenza.
Il ristorante ha una struttura caratteristica ed accogliente, circondata dal verde dei vigneti, dove la cucina tradizionale piemontese incontra la creatività dello Chef Alessandro Franco, che oltre ai prodotti di terra utilizza anche quelli di mare, attraverso una rivisitazione contemporanea, tutta da scoprire.
Sapori antichi e moderni, in piatti a base di carni selezionate e di pesce fresco, pasta lavorata a mano, pane artigianale profumato, i salumi, il famoso tartufo bianco, i funghi e le materie prime di altissima qualità,
accompagnati dal tipico Barolo e da altri vini del territorio che aggiungono valore ad una cantina già ben fornita di etichette pregiate, nazionali ed internazionali.
Gli ambienti sono caldi ed accoglienti, i soffitti sono vintage con i mattoni rossi ma gli arredi sono moderni, e si intonano perfettamente con il paesaggio naturale e pittoresco di La Morra.
La location si trova infatti immersa in un contesto unico e suggestivo, nella più bella campagna panoramica piemontese ma a poca distanza dal centro storico.
Facilmente raggiungibile il ristorante è aperto anche a pranzo, l'ambiente è intimo, ideale per serate romantiche ma adatto anche ad ospitare eventi importanti, privati ed aziendali.

Our Head Chef
After undertaking a professional pilgrimage in the 1980’s, head chef Colin Guthrie has immersed himself in the traditions and techniques of the mediterranean nation of Italy.
An enthusiastic student of his craft who learned under the tutelage of Sicilian chefs in Corleone, this all important period of hands-on training was supplemented by spending time in the markets of Palermo and getting a rare glimpse into the homespun methods of the mamma’s and nonna’s whose tried and tested methods have fed generations of families.
Inspired by the teachings of the old country, there is nothing mass-produced about what we do. Everything is cooked to order and as such, patience can often be a virtue as we always strive to deliver the most rewarding and flavourful visit that we can.

Pizza Chef Riccardo, a native of Abruzzo, Italy, was trained under World Pizza Champions and Master Instructors, Graziano Bertuzzo and Gianni Pompetti. He immigrated to America along with him his dream of bringing a high quality pizza using the finest ingredients to the New York Metro area.
