Il ristorante Il Casale sorge nel cuore verde dell’Umbria, immerso tra gli uliveti e le querce di una collina situata alle pendici del Monte Pausillo, che si affaccia sulle campagne circostanti il Lago Trasimeno. È un luogo ameno, ideale per rilassarsi ammirando il paesaggio e degustando i piatti caratteristici della tradizione locale,
tutti preparati con i prodotti che la natura offre nelle varie stagioni.
Il ristorante Il Casale è situato nella verde campagna umbra, sulle rigogliose colline che circondano la valle del Trasimeno.
Dalle ariose terrazze panoramiche si può godere di affascinanti scorci sui borghi ubicati nei pressi del lago, come Castiglione del Lago, con la sua antica rocca, o la fortezza medievale che si erge dall’Isola Polvese.
Negli interni, invece, si respira la suggestiva atmosfera dei cascinali umbri, evocata attraverso soffitti con travi di legno a vista, caratteristici pavimenti in cotto e un camino rustico, in cui, d’inverno, vengono preparate tradizionali pietanze alla brace.
La cucina è curata dalla Signora Giuseppina, titolare e chef, che da oltre vent’anni si dedica con passione a portare avanti la tradizione dei sapori tipici umbri, lavorando esclusivamente prodotti locali e di stagione, secondo ricette tramandate in famiglia.
Così come il tipo di cucina, anche la conduzione è familiare e immerge il cliente in un clima informale, caldo e accogliente.

Corria o ano de 1944, quando os três irmãos Giacinto, Varese e Alvaro Cristiani, ainda bastante novos, chegaram a Roma no auge da Segunda Guerra Mundial com o desejo e a esperança de construir um futuro para a sua família. A paixão pela culinária da sua terra natal, a Toscania, e sua dedicação ao trabalho foram os elementos que levaram estes três rapazes a escrever o futuro do seu restaurante: Fiammetta.
Este espaço foi fundado e é ainda gerido como uma pequena empresa familiar há mais de 74 anos, e é um ponto de encontro para palatos nostálgicos, caçadores de sabores tradicionais, turistas curiosos e clientes fiéis.
O Fiammetta agora duplicou o seu endereço com a abertura das novas instalações em Lisboa, Portugal, com um restaurante e uma loja gourmet que se reúnem no mesmo espaço. O Fiammetta Lisboa mantém orgulhosamente os mesmos valores dos três fundadores e, superando todos os limites geográficos, oferece aos seus clientes uma seleção cuidadosa de produtos italianos autênticos de origem artesanal exclusiva.

Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".
Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.
Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us
At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!
