It's a family thing.......

Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at  good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".

Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.

Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us

At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!

Pranzo is a celebration of authentic Italian food.

The family-run deli & trattoria is located in the heart of Whitley Bay, offering Italian tapas, pasta, pizza and street food in the restaurant, on the alfresco terrace or as take away.

Open throughout the day and evening, Pranzo works closely with local producers, as well as speciality Italian artisans, to create a menu that can be enjoyed by all of the family. The wine list is sourced directly from Italian vineyards featuring classics such as Vermentino Toscano, Chianti Classico , Aglianico Porconero and Cannonau Dolinova.

Tuscan-born, Pablo, has spent over 20 years in the food and wine industry in Italy and here in the North East. Together with his wife Louise, they have created Pranzo to showcase mouth-watering family recipes using the highest quality ingredients. Pablo and Louise’s vision for Pranzo is to create a casual and friendly space, where authentic Italian cuisine can be enjoyed with family and friends.

C’era una volta… Così cominciano le favole ma questa che vogliamo raccontarvi è realtà. La storia di una casa, più che di un albergo, che da generazioni manda avanti un concetto di ospitalità e accoglienza in cui tutti possono ritrovarsi e beneficiarne.

La posizione è meravigliosa, immersa nel raffinato borgo di Sant’Angelo con il mare ad un passo tanto che ne puoi sentire l’odore e con l’isola d’Ischia a fare da sfondo.

Tra le esperienze da vivere qui intorno ci sono la baia dei Maronti, la spiaggia più grande e lunga dell’isola di Ischia, dove si trovano anche le antiche terme romane di Cava Scura; la piazzetta ultra chic e le stradine del borgo, per pomeriggi di shopping e serate mondane; per gli amanti del trekking vari percorsi ecologici e itinerari per andare alla scoperta del lato squisitamente rurale dell’isola. I fiori all’occhiello della struttura sono poi la cucina, genuina e saporita nel richiamo della cultura gastronomica ischitana, e l’attrezzata area wellness affinché nell’esperienza anche relax e benessere trovino posto.

Il locale è piccolo ed accogliente, l’intento è quello di far sentire il cliente coccolato e come se stesse a casa sua.
