L’ambiente è intimo, ben distante dalla frenesia di una città metropolitana, gli arredi sono in stile industrial con l’inserimento di elementi eleganti come il velluto e naturali con l’uso di piante e fiori freschi. Disponiamo di ampio spazio e di una sala superiore privata, prenotabile per eventi privati e cene aziendali.

Il personale è altamente qualificato e attento alle esigenze dei clienti.

Il menù del ristorante è ricco e variegato, spazia dalle portate a base di carne a quelle a base di pesce, fino alle opzioni vegetariane.

I piatti sono preparati con cura e passione, utilizzando solo ingredienti selezionati per garantire un'esperienza gastronomica unica nel suo genere.

Il weekend è prevista la formula brunch con piatti della tradizione italiana rivisitati dallo Chef Noel.

Cooking Classes

As part of our mission to educate on all things Italian, we offer cooking classes for all of the family. Specialist classes for adults include how to make fresh ravioli and gnocchi, while children can try their hand at making tagliatelle.

The Restaurant

Situated on the bustling Glasgow Road and just a stone’s throw from Barshaw Park, Caffé Royale has become a thriving destination for excellent Italian cuisine in Paisley and beyond.

Established in 2016 but overseen as a family run operation since 2019, the restaurant pulls off the impressive feat of being stylish and contemporary while retaining a transportive quaintness which will immerse everyone that enters in the joy of the dining experience.

Our Head Chef

After undertaking a professional pilgrimage in the 1980’s, head chef Colin Guthrie has immersed himself in the traditions and techniques of the mediterranean nation of Italy.

An enthusiastic student of his craft who learned under the tutelage of Sicilian chefs in Corleone, this all important period of hands-on training was supplemented by spending time in the markets of Palermo and getting a rare glimpse into the homespun methods of the mamma’s and nonna’s whose tried and tested methods have fed generations of families.

Inspired by the teachings of the old country, there is nothing mass-produced about what we do. Everything is cooked to order and as such, patience can often be a virtue as we always strive to deliver the most rewarding and flavourful visit that we can.

Fusing the best local produce with select important items which imbue our food with the unmistakable quality of genuine Italian cooking, it goes without saying that no matter what time you pop in and what menu you choose to eat from, we prioritise freshness and always strive to outdo ourselves.

Authentiek Italiaans tafelen in een ongedwongen sfeer. Dat is La Brasseria da Mauro, in het hartje van Edegem. Kom proeven van het allerbeste dat Zuid-Italië te bieden heeft.

Chef Mauro is afkomstig van Bari (Puglia). Een minder toeristische streek in de hak van de laars, vlak aan de Adriatische zee. Een charmante stad met een rijk maritiem verleden, waar je zulke verse vis kan eten dat hij even goed recht uit de zee op je bord had kunnen springen. In het oude stadscentrum liggen de verse pomodori te blinken in bakken voor de kleine kruidenierszaken, hangen de peperoni in trosjes aan de marktkramen en rollen de mama’s en nonna’s orecchiette (oortjespasta) die ze in de zon laten drogen. Eten is een belangrijke zaak in Zuid-Italië. Zo tonen de Pugliese hun gastvrijheid. Schuif aan tafel bij La Brasseria Da Mauro en proef de Zuiderse zon op je bord.

Mag er voor u misschien wat truffel bij? Eigenhandig meegebracht door de chef uit zijn geboortestreek. Of een succulente zeebaars om compleet bij weg te dromen richting het Middelandse Zeegebied? Misschien nog besluiten met een typisch Italiaans topdessert: een cassata!

La Brasseria Da Mauro ontvangt u heel graag voor een verfijnde smaaksensatie op het vernieuwde Edegemse gemeenteplein, in de schaduw van het voormalige gemeentehuis. Lekker en ongeremd Italiaans tafelen in een op en top charmant Vlaams dorpsdécor.
