We blend traditional Neapolitan recipes and cooking techniques with an innovative, contemporary twist that’s wholly unique to La Magnolia.
Situated on the exclusive and peaceful strip looking out to sea, our all-Italian staff team create the finest Italian cuisine made with produce sourced locally and direct from Italy. Choose from an intimate dining experience in our stunning restaurant, or dine al fresco… we also cater for large parties and events for all special celebrations.
A bit about the Italian team
Run by Paolo and Carla Magnolia, our restaurant opened in 2008 – and just a year later, won the coveted Best Italian Restaurant accolade at the Kent Dining Awards.
We are an all-Italian family-owned and run team, from our Front of House manager through to our Head Chefs and waiting staff… charming, welcoming and friendly with real Italian warmth and flare.
Real Italian cooking
Paolo is the creative influence behind our menus. Inspired by his cultural heritage, Paolo uses the same recipes and techniques passed down through his family. He blends history with modern styles and ingredients to create mouth-watering menus rich in flavour, colour and authenticity.
Fresh local produce
We are passionate about fresh ingredients, and preparing every dish from scratch. Our specialities include stone-baked oven pizzas, made with a secret recipe from our pizzaiolo, seafood (sustainably caught) and meat dishes complemented by a huge variety of Italian sauces. We also offer a wide range of vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free dishes – just ask us to prepare your meal to meet your needs.
Our desserts are all homemade and freshly prepared, including classic Tiramisu, traditional palette-cleansing lemon sorbet, indulgent Banoffee pie and our famous Torta Magnolia – with a different variation every day.

“Benvenuti in questo piccolo albergo completamente rinnovato. Situato sulla panoramica in direzione di S. Angelo in Colle ad un chilometro dalle mura del centro di Montalcino, è posto in una terrazza naturale che domina la valle di fronte al Monte Amiata.
Da qui si ammirano i vigneti di Brunello, i paesi di San Quirico d’Orcia, Castiglione d’Orcia e Bagno Vignoni.
Lo staff, sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti, mette in pratica quotidianamente le regole fondamentali per un piacevole soggiorno: l’accoglienza, l’atmosfera e la pulizia, tutto in un ambiente ricco di particolari che rende il soggiorno degli ospiti gradevole e indimenticabile.
