La Loggia del Chianti: the typical Tuscan flavors between innovation and tradition
Since 1987 “La Loggia del Chianti” keeps evolving its dishes, in the name of tradition and innovation. For about 30 years this family-run restaurant has been a must-try for every tourist visiting Radda in Chianti; opened in 1987 and moved in 2010, “La Loggia del Chianti” stands in front of the beautiful hills and green trees in the district of Siena.
A lovely place which combines the typical atmosphere of inns with the elegance of top-level restaurants. Products are carefully selected, with particular attention for zero-mileage ones along with those coming from Tuscan ground. Good food is what matters to “Loggia del Chianti”, whose philosophy pursues tradition, specialties and ancient techniques while endeavoring to modernize them all.
The result is the combination of healthiness, taste, elegance and quality.
The beautiful aspect of dishes suggests the quality and professionalism of the staff and their service. “La Loggia”, a cold cuts course, is one of the typical and most ordered dishes and it consists of a selection of salami from Siena and wild-game meat.
The traditional “pici alla contadina” are a must-try too, made with homemade pasta and a spicy ragu’ sauce.
The juicy meats – among which Fiorentina steak stands out – are barbecued in the big fire pit inside the hall. Then seafood dishes, fruit and salad side dishes, delicate and tasty desserts… each of them realized to please the customer!
As far as possible, “La Loggia del Chianti” is available to serve gluten-free courses.
