Parcheggio auto interno all'Albergo, un parcheggio Bus distante soltanto 100 metri, un ottimo American Bar con gelateria artigianale, Sala Tv, Sala musica, Sala giochi, Free Wi fi in tutta la struttura completano i servizi offerti dall'Hotel.

La nostra pizzeria nasce nel marzo 2013 da un sogno di Leo il titolare, siamo una pizzeria con posti a sedere (circa una novantina) , utilizziamo prodotti 100% made in italy , partendo dalla farina napoletana , sino ad arrivare a tutti gli ingredienti che farciscono le nostre pizze.

A Passion for Food

Pietro loved cooking from an early age and this led him to have his first experience at age 15, working in a professional kitchen in his hometown of Canosa di Puglia in Southern Italy. Since then, it’s been his passion. But his greatest food memory is of his mother’s Ragu cooking on the stove, the aromas of that rich sauce filled the whole house.

In 2015 Pietro came to Ripon to work at Prima Pizzeria, where he developed his skills and fired his ambition. He started at the bottom and worked his way up very quickly going from Commis to Head Chef in just 3 years. However, in November 2021, an opportunity to fulfil his dream presented itself. After 37 years, the Fantoni family were ready to hand over the reins. Now Pietro and his team are carrying on the tradition of delivering an authentic Italian dining experience in Ripon.

Pietro says “Being a Chef and Restaurateur is the ultimate job for someone who loves food. No two days are the same, trying out new dishes, listening to what your customers say, tweaking recipes and constantly looking to improve. But above all, it’s immensely rewarding and great fun”.

He loves to travel, experiencing new food and all types of restaurants. It’s this along with his Italian heritage which inspires every dish. That passion for food which saw Pietro make the move from Puglia to Yorkshire which is at the heart of what a customer can expect from the kitchen.

That’s why he makes a point of meeting all his local suppliers personally to ensure the quality of their produce. From locally reared meat and poultry to his favourite Brymor Ice Cream, Pietro ensures standards are maintained. Even the wine needs the seal of approval before it goes on the list…!

Put simply, Prima Pizzeria serves great food, in a cosy atmosphere, with the buzz of a busy restaurant which makes booking highly recommended – especially at weekends.

The house “Blackboard Menu” is updated on a regular basis to accommodate for fresh seafood and seasonal game. We have an Early Bird Menu from 4.30pm until 6.30pm and a Children’s Menu is available. Prima Pizzeria also has an extensive Take Away Menu if you want the Prima Experience at home.

Located, only a two-minute walk from either Ripon Market Place or Ripon Cathedral, Prima Pizzeria, is at 33 Kirkgate which is a characterful cobbled street packed with small shops.

Farina impastata ogni giorno per garantire pasta fresca, prodotti a km zero selezionati accuratamente per garantire il vero sapore della Terra Salentina. Ed infine sapienti mani a regalare emozioni quotidiane impagabili nel loro sentire.

The story behind Ristorante la Vela is as unique as the food we serve. A mixture of passion, determination and hard work, paved the way for our restaurant over a decade ago.

Ristorante La Vela as a concept was conceived by Michelle Muscat back in 2008. Accountant by profession, Muscat comes from a food-loving family with a long history in the catering business. La Vela started out as a hobby, however by time, it became a full-time job infused with much passion and dedication.

Through persistence and hard work, Michelle Muscat along with her team of talented chefs, created a place where wonder and amazement are merged into one, a place where you can enjoy a lovely meal and a great time.

This popular dining spot is not only known for its atmospheric ambience, but also for the wonderful dishes which are served to customers. Ristorante La Vela is known for hosting a number of celebrities including many popular singers, actors and football personalities from all over the world.

Enrico

Originally from Scicli, Ragusa where he studied the art of cooking, Enrico has joined the restaurant when he was 21 years old. He has grown with the restaurant for the past nine years and with his unlimited passion and dedication Enrico has proven time after time his talent for cooking.

Enrico is our head chef and together with Vincenzo he is pleasantly surprising our customers with new specialities each week.

Vincenzo

Vincenzo is from Ispica, Sicily, and has been with La Vela for over five years now. His delicious dishes speak for his love and passion for food loud and clear. Coming from Ispica, where he went to catering school, Vincenzo has not only knowledge and skills but also great intuition.

The art of combining flavours and creating mouthwatering compositions has no secrets from him, which he has proven many times.

Per chi non lo sapesse il primo aperitivo è stato inventato da un italiano Antonio Carpano che nel 1786 inventò il vermouth che aprì la strada alla nascita dei primi miscelati e che poi con il passare degli anni sono diventati i "cocktail"

Il nostro Bartender Mauro Pinci crea e stupisce.

Unisce modernità, creatività, e spettacolarità.

E' a lui che dobbiamo i meravigliosi cocktail bolle di fumo, alla sua inventiva ed alla costante ricerca di soluzioni che rendano il "drink" un magico momento di relax e sensazioni.

BOLLE DI FUMO

Sul cocktail viene creata una bolla di fumo commestibile che lo aromatizza, la potete far esplodere con un semplice tocco del dito e sarete inebriati dall'odore e piacevolmente sorpresi dall'effetto fumoso.

Si torna un poco bambini, quando con la gioia negli occhi si facevano scoppiare le bolle di sapone, il piacere qui è prolungato dal gusto di assaporare un cocktail unico.

Emivita è la Pizzeria Innovativa gestita dal Pluri Campione Mondiale Mario Scandura.
