Volare Restaurants Ltd has been trading since 2007, and still improving the customer experience as the restaurant has been refurbished with a new suspended ceiling and a new bar... We always strive to give you the best Italian produce at  good value for money during these times of economic hardship. Partners and Hosts Onofrio Maimone and Cinzia Lopalco say "When you come to our place, we'll make all efforts to make sure you feel like you are on holiday in Italy for as long as your stay!".

Onofrio is from Sicily and has an extensive experience in catering. He's been working in the trade all his life and is the chef/proprietor of the establishment.

Cinzia is from Puglia and has been managing holiday farms, where she's learnt the trade and all the aspects of day to day running of kitchen and front of house. In the kitchen, Jason Maimone is our head chef in the kitchen and has followed in Onofrios footsteps and has learnt everything there is to know from his father, he is very talented, very motivated to keep high standards and eager to takeover one day along with his wife Victoria Maimone who is once again very talented in the front of house and she strives to make everyone feel welcomeand enjoy their meal or special occasions with us

At Volare, we have excellent food and a large Wine list to choose from. We source our ingredients locally and the rest is imported from Italy through a network of leading distributors.All this mixed with family style service gives you a true authentic taste of real Italy!

TRATTORIA OSENNA

Perché un buon pasto ed un buon vino rendono felici i cuori.

Trattoria Osenna è il ristorante più antico di questo piccolo borgo medievale situato nel Parco Della Valdorcia, patrimonio Unesco da molti anni.  Di ristoranti San Quirico D’Orcia ne ha vari, ma nessuno come Trattoria Osenna, dove uno splendido giardino, le carni ed altri ingredienti primari provenienti dall’azienda agricola di proprietà, si uniscono all’antico sapere delle cuoche che cucinano tipico valdorciano(non c’era altra cucina prima…).

Il suo bellissimo giardino contornato da glicini secolari offre la possibilità di mangiare immersi tra i colori della natura, creando una scenografia ideale al gustare una fiorentina o un picio all’aglione che inebriano vista olfatto e gusto, una vera esplosione di sensazioni e di sapori. Allo stesso modo ma con ambiente climatizzato, gli interni in stile rustico toscano ricreano perfettamente l’atmosfera dei tempi passati. L

a cucina è quella tipica della Val D’Orcia con ricette antiche solo in parte rivisitate. Le materie prime sono per oltre l’80% auto prodotte  nell’azienda di famiglia:  garantendo così la qualità e la freschezza che solo un vero Km Zero come  Trattoria Osenna ristorante in San Quirico D’Orcia può vantarsi di avere davvero, in questa meravigliosa terra unica che è il Parco della Val D’Orcia.

As part of our mission to educate on all things Italian, we offer cooking classes for all of the family. Specialist classes for adults include how to make fresh ravioli and gnocchi, while children can try their hand at making tagliatelle.

TRE GARIBALDINI: lo spirito dell’innovazione con il cuore della tradizione

Tre Garibaldini è un ristorante innovativo che si trova nel centro di Gazoldo degli Ippoliti, a pochi passi da Mantova. Il locale, racchiuso fra mura centenarie, è un mix perfetto tra tradizione italiana e stile raffinato di un bistrot parigino.

Ilaria, la proprietaria, con la sua esperienza nel campo della ristorazione, crea piatti nuovi e originali utilizzando solo materie prime di alta qualità, come le carni di allevamenti locali e il pesce fresco consegnato ogni mattina.

La pizza è uno dei piatti più apprezzati del ristorante, grazie alla cottura nel forno a legna e alla scelta di impasti innovativi, come quello ai 9 cereali. Ilaria, con la sua passione e voglia di sperimentare, crea un'esperienza culinaria indimenticabile per i suoi ospiti.

Il ristorante è aperto dal lunedì al martedì e dal giovedì al sabato dalle ore 19 alle 24 a cena, mentre la domenica anche a pranzo dalle 12 alle 15.

De Geschiedenis

Chef-kok Johan De Jaegher groeide letterlijk op tussen de pannen en potten van de Milano, het oudste Italiaanse restaurant van Antwerpen, dat door zijn vader in 1971 werd overgenomen. Na een Frans-georienteerde koks-opleiding aan de vermaarde hotelschool Ter Duinen in Koksijde, trad Johan op amper 19-jarige leeftijd in de voetsporen van zijn vader en nam het roer in de keuken van de beroemde familiezaak over. Door toedoen van de Italiaanse chefs die er dagelijks aan de slag gingen, ontwikkelde Johan een diepgaande liefde voor de verfijnde Italiaanse keuken die hij 25 jaar lang met de vele habitué’s van de Milano deelde. Tot hij besloot dat het tijd werd om zijn eigen gastronomische hotspot uit de grond te stampen.

De Pastorie
In Gooreind

‘Toen mijn echtgenote en ik merkten dat de plaatselijke Pastorie in Sylvie’s geboortedorp Gooreind vrij kwam te staan, wisten we meteen dat dit de perfecte locatie was om onze culinaire droom te realiseren: een eigen Italiaans restaurant, volledig naar onze smaak en visie ingericht. Het gebouw dateert uit 1866 en had nood aan een totale make-over maar tijdens elke stap van dit grondige renovatie-project hebben we er zorgvuldig over gewaakt dat de ziel en grandeur van dit pand bewaard bleven. Gezellige hoekjes, toetsen van goud, brons en koper en een ingenieuze verlichting zorgen voor een intiem karakter en een gevoel van luxueuze rust. Kortom het gedroomde decor om te genieten van onze liefde voor Italiaanse gerechten.  

    
De originele
Italiaanse keuken

Het absolute pronkstuk in onze keuken is de Morello Forni-pizza-oven, zeg maar de Lamborghini onder de gespecialiseerde houtovens. Op onze kaart vind je naast een  uitgebreid assortiment van authentieke pizza’s ook verschillende olijfolieën uit Piëmonte en de Chianti-streek, zorgvuldige gerijpte Balsamico-azijn, mozzarella di buffola, de fijnste Italiaanse vleeswaren, verse en gedroogde pasta’s die à la minute worden gekookt, zelfgemaakte ravioli en canneloni, Italiaanse klassiekers als osso buco, gebakken kalfslever, gamberoni a la grigglia,…

In de zomer heten wij u eveneens welkom op ons ruime terras dat uitkijkt over een oase van groen en waar je met een lekker glaasje prosecco of een aperitivo kan genieten van het vermaarde Italiaanse dolce far niente.

Wij hopen dan ook dat u zich in Il Divino di Milano laat meenemen op onze culinaire rondreis doorheen de lekkerste uithoekjes van de Italiaanse keuken.
